Chile Installs 1.13 GW of Solar Capacity in 2025, Totaling 11.63 GW

In 2025, Chile installed 1,127 MW of solar capacity, bringing its total to 11,634 MW, with solar energy accounting for 31.1% of national generation. The National Energy Commission reported that over 4 GW of renewable projects are under construction, with 89 projects in the qualification stage, representing a substantial investment of $26.487 billion. Non-conventional renewable sources now make up 50.8% of the country's total energy generation.
