China Announces Early-Batch Major Projects Worth 295 Billion Yuan for 2026 Investment Plan

China's National Development and Reform Commission has approved major projects worth approximately 295 billion yuan (about 42 billion USD) as part of its 2026 investment plan. These initiatives, which include a new airport in Guangzhou and various infrastructure and energy projects, aim to optimize fund allocation and ensure a smooth start to the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).
