Citadines Bacolod City has entered into a partnership with Lopez-led First Gen Corporation to receive 800 kilowatts of geothermal power, enhancing the hotel's sustainability efforts. The energy will be sourced from First Gen's Leyte geothermal plant, supporting the hotel's goal of reducing its carbon footprint and energy intensity.

The collaboration aligns with Ascott Limited's commitment to eco-friendly operations. First Gen, which operates the Philippines' largest geothermal portfolio, is also providing renewable energy solutions to other major clients, including Unilever Philippines.
