City of Milton to Complete Natural Gas Line Replacement by January 2027
NATURAL GAS
The City of Milton is replacing aging natural gas lines, some over 80 years old, as part of a $10 million grant. Initially planned for partial replacement, cost-saving measures allow for complete line replacement with more resilient materials.
The project, which began last year, is expected to conclude by January 2027. Current work is focused on various streets, with completion of specific areas anticipated in 60 days. The project aims to improve service and address a waiting list for residents wanting to switch to natural gas.
