Coastal Bend LNG has awarded front-end engineering and design contracts to KBR and Técnicas Reunidas for a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal on the Texas Gulf Coast, featuring a capacity of 22.5 million tonnes per annum. The project aims to deliver cost-competitive LNG while incorporating carbon capture and storage, with plans to proceed to the engineering, procurement, and construction phase following a positive final investment decision. Additionally, EXP has been selected as the lead environmental consultant for the initiative.
