Coca-Cola System and Ukrainian Red Cross Enhance Energy Resilience with Mobile Boilers Project
The Coca-Cola System and the Ukrainian Red Cross are implementing a project to provide heat to Ukrainian communities, allocating over USD 9 million for 110 mobile boilers, with five set for delivery in 2025. The boilers have a total capacity of nearly 61 MW, sufficient to heat 610,000 square meters.
Over three years, the initiative has equipped 46 educational institutions, 33 medical facilities, 29 residential buildings, and two critical infrastructure sites with mobile boilers. In 2025, new installations include a kindergarten, two schools, and two medical institutions.
The mobile boilers can operate on natural gas and switch to diesel if needed, and are manufactured in Ukraine to support local industry. Since the invasion, the Coca-Cola System has contributed approximately USD 40 million to aid Ukrainian recovery efforts.
