Cogenra Solar Launches Solar Cogeneration Project at Tucson Medical Center
NATURAL GAS
Cogenra Solar has launched a solar cogeneration project at Tucson Medical Center, the first of its kind in healthcare, featuring 46 SunDeck modules that will generate both renewable electricity and hot water. The 115kW system is projected to pre-heat 5,300 gallons of water daily and produce 31,600 kWh of electricity, significantly reducing natural gas consumption and saving the hospital over $8,500 in energy costs annually. This initiative aligns with TMC's goals to lower energy expenses and enhance sustainability.
