Col. Bradley K. Klemesrud Takes Command of 419th Fighter Wing at Hill AFB
Col. Bradley K. Klemesrud officially assumed command of the 419th Fighter Wing at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, on August 15, 2025.
He is responsible for approximately 1,300 Reserve Airmen. Klemesrud, a fighter pilot with over 3,400 flying hours, emphasized readiness as a top priority, focusing on integrated wing-level training. He plans to engage hands-on with Airmen to identify strengths and opportunities.
The wing will collaborate with the active-duty 388th Fighter Wing and the Air Force Reserve's 10th Air Force to enhance Total Force integration. Klemesrud aims to strengthen community ties through outreach and an Honorary Commander Program. The 419th Fighter Wing operates F-35s and supports various mission areas, including civil engineering and medical services.
