A memorial ceremony at Heydar Aliyev International Airport commemorated the victims of the December 25 crash of Azerbaijan Airlines flight J2-8243, which resulted in 38 fatalities and 29 injuries. Attendees included government officials and families of the crew members, who laid flowers at the Second Alley of Honor in Baku. The deceased crew members were posthumously awarded National Hero titles, while two survivors received the Order of 'Rashadat' for their bravery.
