Cook Inlet LNG LLC has announced an offshore liquefied natural gas import project aimed at enhancing energy security in Southcentral Alaska, utilizing a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to supply 22 billion cubic feet of natural gas annually. The project, developed in partnership with Glacier Oil & Gas Corp., will leverage existing platform infrastructure and undergo regulatory approvals from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the U.S.

Coast Guard. It is designed as a bridge solution to meet immediate gas demand while longer-term strategies are developed.
