COPT Defense Properties has secured an $88 million build-to-suit lease with a Fortune 100 company for a new 132,000 square foot facility in San Antonio, Texas, set to begin construction in Q3 2026 and commence rent in Q4 2027. This project is part of COPT Defense's broader 2025 investment strategy, which aims to invest $277 million across five developments totaling 640,000 square feet within its Defense/IT Portfolio.
