Coquitlam has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to find a contractor for the removal or relocation of a 4,000-square foot house on Cottonwood Avenue, part of a project to expand Cottonwood Park from 5.15 acres to 11.5 acres. The city prefers relocation unless it is deemed unfeasible, with the contract to be awarded in February 2026. The selected contractor will assume ownership of the house 'as-is' and handle utility disconnection and site clearing.
