Cosco Shipping Holdings has placed an order with Jiangnan Shipyard for 12 LNG dual-fuel container ships, each costing RMB1.4 billion ($200 million). Scheduled for delivery between 2028 and 2029, these 18,000 teu vessels are intended for east-west routes, supporting Cosco's strategy to expand fleet capacity and lower carbon emissions.
