Cranes have been integral to recent infrastructure projects in the US and Austria. Boldt Construction, in partnership with Dakota County and Xcel Energy, upgraded the Lake Byllesby Dam in Minnesota, doubling its energy capacity to 4.4MW.

The US Army Corps of Engineers replaced six gates at the Gavins Point Dam in South Dakota to ensure its functionality. In Austria, WOLFFKRAN and Kostmann GesmbH facilitated a reservoir clean-up project, moving 20,000 cubic meters of sediment.
