Croatia has triggered the Espoo Convention procedure against Bosnia and Herzegovina regarding the Gornji Horizonti hydropower project. Environmental Minister Marija Vučković stated that Croatia's concerns focus on potential negative impacts from the project, which has not adequately included Croatia in the decision-making process.

The project, led by Elektroprivreda Republike Srpske, involves diverting water through several plains and constructing three hydropower plants. Croatia aims to ensure its environmental interests are addressed.
