Côte d'Ivoire President Alassane Ouattara has appointed his brother, Téné Birahima Ouattara, as vice prime minister in a cabinet reshuffle on January 23, 2026, while he continues as defense minister. The new government includes 34 ministers, with five new appointments and four departures, following Ouattara's re-election and his party's legislative success.
