DARPA has launched the Frosty program to develop advanced radar technologies for Arctic environments, focusing on innovative signal-processing algorithms that improve target detection where traditional methods fall short. Proposals must demonstrate comprehensive capabilities, including detecting airborne targets at a minimum range of 75 km with over 90% probability.
