Deesa Air Force Station Approved to Become North Gujarat's First Civilian Airport

The Government of India has approved the conversion of Deesa Air Force Station into North Gujarat's first civilian airport, facilitating joint civilian-military operations. The project will develop a terminal on 100 acres within a 4,500-acre complex, addressing the region's need for air connectivity and enhancing access for residents currently reliant on Ahmedabad airport. With a 3.3-kilometer runway, the airport is strategically located 18 km from Deesa city and is well-connected by major highways.
