Destinus Acquires Daedalean for $225 Million to Enhance AI for Defense and Civil Aviation

Destinus Group BV has acquired Zürich-based Daedalean AG for approximately USD 225 million, positioning it as a central hub for AI engineering focused on autonomy and advanced perception technologies. Daedalean will continue to develop AI solutions for both civil aviation and defense applications, enhancing Destinus' capabilities in autonomous systems. Former Daedalean CEO Bas Gouverneur has taken on the role of Chief Military Program Officer, while Brontë Hamilton joins as Chief Financial Officer to guide financial strategy during the expansion.
