The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) has awarded ten companies a $25.36 billion contract for the Advanced Technology Support Program V (ATSP V), which will provide engineering development support services over a potential 10-year period. This contract includes a five-year base ordering period and aims to enhance the microelectronics supply chain for the Department of War and other federal agencies, addressing capability gaps and electronics obsolescence. The program follows the previous ATSP IV, which had an expanded total value of approximately $17.47 billion.
