DNV Signs Long-Term CDR Agreement with Carbon Centric for 40,000 Tonnes CO2 Removal

DNV has signed a long-term carbon dioxide removal agreement with Norway's Carbon Centric to deliver 10,000 tonnes of CDR annually for four years starting in 2028. This partnership supports the development of a carbon capture plant at the Kirkenaer site, which aims to tackle approximately 30,000 tonnes of CO2 per year using amine-based technology, with a long-term goal of achieving 1 million tonnes of CO2 capture capacity annually by 2030.
