Drydocks World has contracted with Dixstone Lower Gulf FZCO to convert an LNG carrier into a floating storage unit (FSU) for Gabon's offshore gas development, named Cap Lopez. The project aims to enhance gas production capacity by approximately 105 million standard cubic feet per day, involving significant fabrication and installation work, with completion scheduled for July 2027. Activities will be classified by Lloyd's Register to ensure compliance and safety standards.
