Duck Mayor Monica Thibodeau expressed frustration over the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' decision to end eight years of negotiations for a long-term lease on property housing the Town's public safety departments.

The lease expiration in five years may require the Town to vacate the property. The Town has spent $115,000 on lease efforts and is engaging with federal leadership to seek solutions while planning a new public safety facility.
