Dunkerque LNG Becomes Europe's Second Largest Methane Terminal After Rotterdam

Dunkerque LNG has become Europe's second largest methane terminal, following Rotterdam, since its operational launch in 2017. Located in Loon-Plage, the facility can accommodate the largest methane carriers and features three massive storage tanks with a combined capacity of 600,000 cubic meters, designed for structural integrity with 80 cm thick concrete walls. Managed by Fluxys, the terminal includes extensive piping systems spanning thousands of kilometers.
