Energía 2000 has successfully received its first LNG shipment for the Manzanillo Power Land project in the Dominican Republic, marking a significant milestone for the country's energy security. The LNG carrier Energoslo delivered approximately 50,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas using a ship-to-ship transfer method to the Energos Freeze floating storage and regasification unit. This project is expected to generate 440 megawatts, contributing about 12% to the national generation capacity and promoting economic development in the northern border region.
