EOS Secures $80M Contract for High-Energy Laser System in South Korea
Electro Optic Systems Holdings has signed a conditional contract worth US$80 million to manufacture a 100kW high-energy laser weapon system for a customer in the Republic of Korea. The contract includes delivery, a proposed joint venture for the Korean market, and licensing of intellectual property, pending regulatory approvals.
If fulfilled, this contract would be EOS's second export order for its 100kW-class laser technology, with production planned in Singapore and delivery expected by the end of 2027. Additionally, Redcastle Resources reported high gold grades from drilling at the Redcastle Reef deposit, with results supporting the current mineral resource estimate. Green & Gold Minerals announced multiple high-grade drill intersections at its Mt Wandoo deposit, extending mineralisation and supporting plans for a resource estimate update and mining studies.
