Equal1 has secured $60 million in funding to enhance the production of its silicon-based quantum processors, aiming to make quantum computing as accessible as traditional systems. This investment, led by the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund, will support the deployment of the Bell·1 Quantum Server in high-performance computing environments, including installation at the European Space Agency's Space HPC Centre in Italy. The company plans to leverage existing semiconductor manufacturing techniques to lower costs and improve scalability in quantum technology.
