ESAB Corp. has announced its acquisition of Canadian testing instrument manufacturer Eddyfi Technologies for $1.45 billion, aimed at expanding its product portfolio and strengthening its presence in high-growth sectors like aerospace and defense. The deal, expected to close in mid-2026, will be financed through cash, debt, and equity, with Eddyfi projected to generate $270 million in revenue by 2026.
