European defense ministers have approved a nearly $38 billion aid package for Ukraine, primarily to enhance air defense. Germany's defense minister indicated that Ukraine's military will require $60 billion over the next year.

The support includes 30 PAC-3 air defense missiles and five additional units from Germany, with a shipment expected soon. The UK also pledged £500 million for Ukraine's air defense. Germany plans to allocate €11.5 billion in support as well.
