Eversource Reports Increased Q4 Profit Driven by Gas Earnings and Reduced One-Time Charges

Eversource Energy reported a fourth-quarter profit increase, supported by stronger gas business results and fewer one-time charges compared to the previous year. The company's net income rose to $421.3 million, or $1.12 per share, from $72.5 million, or 20 cents per share, a year earlier.
Its natural gas segment earned $123.6 million, up from $103.4 million in the prior year. Eversource expects 2026 profit between $4.80 and $4.95 per share, with a long-term earnings growth forecast of 5% to 7% through 2030.
