Uri Lupolianski, the first ultra-Orthodox mayor of Jerusalem, passed away at 74 after a prolonged illness. He served as mayor from 2003 to 2008 and was later convicted in the Holyland bribery case, which linked to the funding of his charitable organization, Yad Sarah. His funeral will be held at Har HaMenuchot cemetery in Jerusalem.
