Fort Detrick Emergency Operations Center Upgraded to Enhance Crisis Response
DEFENSE
Fort Detrick's Emergency Operations Center has been upgraded to enhance its crisis response capabilities, increasing workstations from 24 to 32 and reorganizing the layout for improved collaboration. The two-year project introduced mobile work pods, advanced technological features like large monitors and a Microsoft Teams-compatible camera system, and was completed using in-house resources within budget constraints. Future enhancements are planned under the Army's Voice Modernization initiative.
