The Wilayat of Sur will hold a foundation stone ceremony for the Masar waterfront development project on February 11, with an investment of RO 2 million. The project includes a health walkway, cycling track, play areas, padel courts, restaurants, and commercial kiosks.

It aims to enhance urban facilities, promote healthy lifestyles, and stimulate local economic activity, aligning with Oman Vision 2040. Construction is set to begin on September 11 and is expected to be completed within one year.
