Fraunhofer ISE has developed two tandem photovoltaic modules achieving record efficiencies of 34.2% for a III-V germanium module and 31.3% for a III-V silicon module. These advancements were made possible through collaborations with AZUR SPACE and temicon, among others, and demonstrate potential applications in both cost-effective and high-performance solar technologies.
