GE Vernova has secured a contract from Lincoln Electric System to supply two LM6000VELOX gas turbines for the Terry Bundy Generating Station in Lincoln, Nebraska. The expansion, scheduled for 2029, aims to increase the facility's output by approximately 100 MW to meet rising electricity demand. The LM6000VELOX turbines are designed for quick startup and operational flexibility, enhancing grid stability as Nebraska transitions its energy portfolio.
