General Dynamics Mission Systems has received a $39.3 million contract modification, increasing a total Air Force contract to $1,085,940,546 for Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) efforts. The Huntsville facility will contribute to ground management, integration, and sustainment tasks.

The modification enhances capabilities for verifying system readiness and performance for operational acceptance of the PWSA, and it adjusts the contract ceiling for materials. Work will also take place in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Grand Forks, North Dakota, with an expected completion date in August 2027. The Space Development Agency in Washington, D.C., is overseeing the contract.
