Germany Orders Eight MQ-9B SeaGuardian Drones from General Atomics for Navy

Germany has ordered eight MQ-9B SeaGuardian drones from General Atomics for its Navy, with deliveries expected to start in 2028. Valued at approximately 1.52 billion euros, the contract includes spare parts and two years of crew training, enhancing Germany's maritime reconnaissance and anti-submarine warfare capabilities. The procurement will be facilitated through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency, aligning Germany with other NATO countries that have also selected the MQ-9B.
