Gilbane Japan GK Awarded $98.45 Million Corrosion Control Hangar Project at Yokota Air Base, Japan

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Japan Engineer District announced the completion of the last structural beam for a Corrosion Control Hangar at Yokota Air Base, Japan, on October 3, 2025. The project, awarded to Gilbane Japan GK in September 2023, represents an investment of approximately $98.45 million aimed at enhancing Yokota's long-term mission readiness. During the initial phases, the project achieved a safety milestone with 155,000 manhours worked without incident.
