The Golyan Group, led by Akshay Golyan, is expanding its renewable energy initiatives in Nepal with a pipeline of 14 projects aimed at achieving over 700 megawatts of capacity by 2030. Currently operating a 36-megawatt hydropower plant, the group is also developing additional projects, including a 46-megawatt plant and a 97.2-megawatt project, while advocating for policy changes to allow independent producers to sell electricity directly to manufacturers.
