Governor Gordon Approves $11.2 Million for Three Wyoming Energy Projects
NATURAL GASCARBON CAPTURE
Governor Gordon has approved three projects in Wyoming to receive a total of $11.2 million in Energy Matching Funds (EMF). Peabody Energy Corporation is allocated $6.25 million for its Rare Earths project, the University of Wyoming receives $989,282 for its Mowry Total Petroleum System project, and Carbon GeoCapture alongside Black Hills Energy is awarded $4.95 million for their power generation initiative. These projects aim to enhance energy innovation and domestic resource development in Wyoming.
