Grande Portage Resources Advances New Amalga Gold Project Infrastructure in Southeast Alaska

Grande Portage Resources Ltd. is progressing on transportation infrastructure for its New Amalga Gold property in Southeast Alaska. The company has applied for a State of Alaska road easement covering one-third of the required road development.

This application has reached the adjudication stage at the Department of Natural Resources. A contract for an archeological survey is set for early spring 2026. The easement will facilitate mine access road construction and establish a helicopter staging area closer to the project site.

Additionally, progress is underway for an ore barge dock at Cascade Point, following a Letter of Intent with Goldbelt, Inc. A US$28.5M contract for the ferry terminal project has been awarded, and a US$1.3M contract for hydropower infrastructure has been signed. The New Amalga project has an Indicated Resource of 1,438,500 ounces of gold at an average grade of 9.47 g/t Au and a smaller Inferred Resource of 515,700 ounces at 8.85 g/t Au.
