Greece Expands Golden Visa Program to Include Startup Investments
DEFENSE
Greece has expanded its Golden Visa program to include a new investment option in startups, requiring a minimum investment of €250,000 in companies listed on Elevate Greece. This initiative, aimed at fostering economic growth, allows investors to obtain a five-year residence permit that can be renewed biennially, with the possibility of citizenship after seven years. Finance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis emphasized the program's alignment with the country's largest tax cuts since 1974 and its response to current geopolitical tensions.
