Green Gardens Dobrovnik is advancing a large-scale baby leaf greenhouse project in northeastern Slovenia, supported by industry leader Pieter Slaman and partners from Belgium and the Netherlands. The initiative aims for year-round production of baby leaf lettuce using advanced greenhouse systems and renewable energy sources, including geothermal and solar power. This project is designed to enhance food security and sustainability in Central Europe, with a production target of 10 to 15 tonnes per day.
