Hanwha Systems Wins KRW 93.7 Billion Contract for AKJCCS AI Commander Upgrade

Hanwha Systems has been awarded a KRW 93.7 billion contract by the Defense Acquisition Program Administration to upgrade the Allied Korea Joint Command Control System (AKJCCS), originally deployed in 2015. The project will incorporate advanced ICT technologies, including AI-based situational analysis and cloud infrastructure, to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making for ROK-US combined operations. This upgrade marks the first comprehensive use of AI in a domestic command system, with a strong emphasis on security and cybersecurity.
