Happy Bear is set to open a specialty coffee and curated wine bar, featuring a menu including sandwiches, breakfast items, soups, salads, and flatbreads, in early 2026. This opening coincides with the advancement of Ensemble/Mosaic's 20-year master plan for the Navy Yard, in collaboration with the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC).

The plan includes AVE Navy Yard, a $285 million mixed-use development that will provide 614 apartments and 25,000 square feet of retail space, also scheduled to open in 2026. Happy Bear's brick-and-mortar location aims to enhance the Navy Yard experience for employees, residents, and visitors.
