Hemofarm has launched a 4 MW rooftop solar power plant in Vršac, Serbia, marking a key step in its decarbonization strategy. This EUR 3 million investment will cover about 12% of the facility's electricity needs and is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 3,000-3,500 tons annually. The plant, spanning 21,000 square meters with around 8,000 solar panels, will supply up to 50% of electricity during summer months, enhancing energy security and cost stability.
