HEN Technologies Secures $22M to Develop AI-Driven Fire Defense Operating System

DEFENSE

HEN Technologies has secured $22 million in funding, comprising a $20 million Series A round and $2 million in venture debt, aimed at advancing its Fluid-IQ predictive AI platform for fire defense. This brings the total capital raised to over $30 million.

Led by O'Neil Strategic Capital, with participation from NSFO, Tanas Capital, and z21 Ventures, the funding will enhance HEN's IoT-enabled hardware infrastructure to capture operational fire datasets. The company’s systems are designed for rapid response, achieving three times faster extinguishment while reducing water use by 67%.

The increase in wildfire-related costs, estimated at $400 billion to $800 billion annually in the U.S., highlights the urgency for innovative fire suppression strategies. HEN plans to expand its sales and technical teams and has over 100 distributors across 20 countries, serving more than 1,000 organizations globally, including CAL FIRE and U.S. military agencies.
