Hermeus Begins Taxi Tests of Quarterhorse Mk 2.1 Supersonic Aircraft at Spaceport America

Hermeus has initiated taxi tests for its Quarterhorse Mk. 2.1 supersonic demonstrator at Spaceport America in New Mexico. This remotely piloted aircraft, powered by Pratt & Whitney's F100-229 engine, is designed for high supersonic speeds and aims to serve as a high-Mach unmanned aircraft for national defense.

The Mk. 2.1 will be used by Kratos Defense for the U.S. Navy's MACH-TB program, with extensive flight tests anticipated following successful taxi evaluations.
