Hilcorp Alaska has received approval from the Alaska Department of Natural Resources to drill two new wells and expand the Kalotsa Pad in its Ninilchik unit on the Kenai Peninsula. The expansion will increase the pad's size by approximately one-third and includes infrastructure improvements, while Hilcorp aims to minimize environmental impacts during the process. Public comments on the expansion proposal are due by February 16.
