Honeywell Aerospace has introduced the SkyShot 1600 engine, targeting the increasing demand for uncrewed tactical jets in Asia with lightweight, low-cost turbofans producing thrust between 800-2,000 lb. This development supports military operators' propulsion needs and aligns with the US Air Force's Collaborative Combat Aircraft flight tests. Honeywell is also partnering with defense industries in Japan, South Korea, and contributing to guided munitions technology in Australia.
